Hardtop

At Modlin’s Welding in Farmville, NC, we custom-fabricate aluminum hard tops and radar arches designed specifically for walkaround boats. Choosing the right setup comes down to your priorities on the water—whether you need maximum weather protection or an unobstructed, open deck layout.

A custom hard top delivers solid, permanent shelter from harsh sun, rain, and spray. Engineered from heavy-duty marine aluminum, it provides a rigid platform to mount radar domes, large antennas, and multi-rod rocket launchers while eliminating the constant maintenance of canvas.

If you prefer an open-air feel and effortless side-to-side casting access along your walkways, a custom radar arch is the ideal solution. Lighter and streamlined, our arches elevate your electronics, anchor lights, and gear off the deck while keeping your helm clear and easy to navigate.

Trust Farmville’s local aluminum experts to craft the perfect top or arch for your vessel. Contact Modlin’s Welding today to discuss which top would be right for your walk-around boat.
